Daydreaming of Summer

Ah, the anticipation for summer is slowly setting in. 

People hitting the gym more often. 

Employees filing for vacation leaves.

The sun shining brighter each day.

To most Filipinos, vacations are booked already. 

To the rest, impromptu road trips works best.

Whichever you are, we're all born wanderlusts that way.

Where it's only you, 

the powdery white goodness between your toes, 

your refreshing drink 

and the salt-water breeze to think of.

We are lucky to live here in the Philippines. Where the nearest beach destination is just a 2-hr drive from Manila. Where people speak English pretty well from tricycle drivers to the the market vendors. Where you can choose from any 7,100 islands and not one looks and feels the same. Where you can be as spontaneous as you can ever be. Where summer can be all-year round, if you wish.
